Meet Unwound, a legendary post-hardcore band from America known for creating intense, atmospheric tunes during the '90s and early 2000s. They started in 1991 around Olympia, Washington, blending raw energy with complex emotions and experimentation.

Justin Trosper, Sarah Lund, Vern Rumsey, and Brandt Sandeno formed Unwound, crafting powerful music together until breaking up in 2002 due to various reasons, including exhaustion and changing priorities. Despite separating, members continued pursuing different paths before reuniting many years later.

In 2007, Sarah connected with her former bandmate Andrew Price, leading to fresh projects inspired by past experiences within Unwound. Meanwhile, others explored solo careers and side ventures. Eventually, several key figures rejoined forces, resulting in tours and special events celebrating their legacy.

Unfortunately, bassist Vern Rumsey passed away in 2020, leaving a void among surviving members. However, Unwound continues to inspire listeners worldwide thanks to timeless works like Leaves Turn Inside You, where haunting beauty meets challenging themes.
