Trust Company
Trust Company is an American nu metal band formed in Prattville, Alabama, in 1997. The group, also known as TRUST*CO, was originally made up of Kevin Palmer (vocals/guitar), Josh Moates (bass), James Fukai (guitar), and Jason Singleton (drums).
Their music career took off when they signed with Geffen Records in 2002. Their debut album, "The Lonely Position of Neutral," was a hit, producing singles like "Downfall" that reached the top 10 in the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart. The album was certified gold by the RIAA, signifying over 500,000 copies sold.
Their follow-up album, "True Parallels," was released in 2005 but didn't achieve the same level of commercial success. After a brief disbandment, the group reformed in 2007 and released their third album, "Dreaming in Black and White," in 2011 under the label E1 Music.
Trust Company's music is characterized by a blend of heavy rock and melodic elements, with an emphasis on powerful, emotive vocals. Despite periods of hiatus and lineup changes, the band has maintained a loyal fan base. Their influence can be seen in the nu metal and alternative rock genres.
