Sleep Token

Sleep Token is a British musical collective known for its unique blend of ambient, progressive rock, and heavy metal elements. The group emerged on the music scene in 2016 with their debut EP, "One". The band's identity is shrouded in mystery, with members donning masks and referring to themselves as "Worshipers" of an ancient deity known as 'Sleep'.

The group's leader, known only as 'Vessel', is the main vocalist and songwriter. He claims that the group's music is directly influenced by the deity they worship, resulting in a sound that is both haunting and hypnotic. Their lyrics often explore themes of love, loss, and longing, adding a deeply emotional layer to their complex musical arrangements.

Sleep Token released their first full-length album, "Sundowning", in 2019 to critical acclaim. The album's release was unique in that it was released track by track over a period of weeks, creating a sense of anticipation and mystery that further cemented the group's enigmatic image.
