Say Anything
Say Anything is an American rock band from Los Angeles, California. The band was formed in 2000 by Max Bemis and four of his friends. The original members were Max Bemis, Coby Linder, Michael Levin, Evan Span, and Greg Dunn.
Say Anything's music is a mix of pop, punk, and rock. They are best known for their energetic live performances and for their unique blend of rock and pop music.
The band released their debut album, "Baseball", in 2001. However, it was their second album, "...Is a Real Boy" released in 2004, that gained them widespread recognition. This album is often considered their breakthrough, featuring hit songs like "Alive with the Glory of Love" and "Wow, I Can Get Sexual Too".
Say Anything has released a total of seven studio albums, with their latest, "Oliver Appropriate", released in 2019. Despite changes in the lineup over the years, Max Bemis has remained the band's primary songwriter and lead vocalist.
In 2018, Bemis announced that Say Anything would be disbanding, but he later clarified that he would continue to make music under the Say Anything name, albeit in a more low-key, solo capacity. Despite their disbandment, Say Anything's influence on the pop-punk and indie-rock genres continues to be felt, and their music remains popular among fans of these genres.
