Meet Piebald, a fun bunch of musicians who kicked off their journey in 1994 when they were teenagers hanging out in Andover, Massachusetts!. These buddies loved making quirky, energetic rock songs—Travis Shettel called them "annoyingly awesome!". Starting as a hardcore punk act, they evolved into a beloved fixture in the Boston area's indie rock scene.
Formed by Travis Shettel, Aaron Stuart, Andrew Bonner, and Jon Sullivan, Piebald took inspiration from nearby heavy hitters like Converge and Cave In. After releasing albums through labels SideOneDummy, Defiance, and others, they decided to call it quits in 2008. However, nostalgia pulled them back together occasionally until they officially revamped things in recent years!
Today, you can catch up with grown-up versions of your favorite Piebald pals performing locally and sometimes joining larger events too. Even though many of them traded gigs for regular jobs, family life hasn't stopped them from sharing their unique brand of music!
So whether you remember jamming along to hits like "Venetian Blinds" or discovering them recently, get pumped because Piebald continues to bring joyful noise whenever possible!
