Nonpoint
Nonpoint is an American rock band hailing from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The group was formed in January 1997 by drummer Robb Rivera and vocalist Elias Soriano, who continue to be the backbone of the band. The band's name, Nonpoint, was derived from a Believer song of the same title.
Nonpoint's music is a potent mix of heavy rock, nu metal, and alternative metal, imbued with a distinctively raw and energetic sound. The band gained recognition with their second album, "Statement," released in 2000. The album's breakout single, "What a Day," brought them into the mainstream rock scene.
Over the years, the band has seen several lineup changes, with the current members being Soriano, Rivera, Rasheed Thomas (rhythm guitar), Adam Woloszyn (bass), and Jason Zeilstra (lead guitar). Despite the changes, Nonpoint has consistently released new music, totaling ten studio albums to date. They have toured with prominent acts like Mudvayne, Sevendust, and Disturbed, further cementing their place in the rock/metal community.
Nonpoint's music is known for its intense, energetic performances and thought-provoking lyrics. Their commitment to their craft and their unwavering dedication to their fanbase have helped them maintain a successful career in the music industry for over two decades.
