Motionless in White
Motionless in White is an American heavy metal band from Scranton, Pennsylvania. Formed in 2005, the group originally comprised of members Chris Cerulli (lead vocals), Angelo Parente (drums), Frank Polumbo (guitar), and Kyle White (bass). The band's name was derived from the Eighteen Visions song "Motionless and White".
Their debut album, "Creatures", was released in 2010, achieving significant success in the underground music scene. The band's image and sound were heavily influenced by gothic and horror aesthetics, making them stand out in the metalcore genre. Parente left the band in 2013 and was replaced by Brandon Richter, while White was replaced by Devin Sola.
Motionless in White's second album, "Infamous", marked a shift towards industrial metal, broadening their fanbase. Their third album, "Reincarnate", debuted at number 9 on the Billboard 200 chart in 2014, cementing their place in the mainstream metal scene.
Over the years, the band has seen several line-up changes, with Cerulli being the only constant member. Despite these changes, Motionless in White has consistently released well-received music, including their fifth album, "Disguise", which peaked at number 4 on the Billboard Top Rock Albums chart.
