Mayday Parade
Mayday Parade is a music group that formed in 2005 in Tallahassee, Florida. They started as a group of friends who loved making music together. Their first song was "When I Get Home, You're So Dead," and they put it online. People loved it, and the band was born! Since then, they've released several albums, including A Lesson in Romantics (2007), Anywhere but Here (2009), and Monsters in the Closet (2013), which they recorded with a new drummer. The band has performed at big music events like Vans Warped Tour and has toured with other popular bands like All Time Low and The Maine.
Mayday Parade has had a few lineup changes over the years. The founding members were vocalist Derek Sanders, guitarists Alex Garcia and Brooks Betts, bassist Jeremy Lenzo, and drummer Jake Bundrick. In 2006, Lenzo left the band and was replaced by Jason Lancaster, who later left the band in 2009. Guitarist Alex Garcia also left the band in 2010. In 2011, Lancaster and Lenzo came back to the band, and Lancaster took over vocals again. In 2013, Buddy Nielsen joined as a guitarist. Over the years, Mayday Parade has continued to make great music and share it with their fans.
