Lorna Shore
Lorna Shore is an American deathcore band from Warren County, New Jersey. The band was formed in 2010 by lead guitarist Adam De Micco, drummer Scott Cooper, and vocalist Tom Barber. Their music is a fusion of intense, brutal deathcore with black metal influences.
The band's initial line-up featured Tom Barber on vocals, Adam De Micco and Nick Lona on guitars, Gary Herrera on bass, and Scott Cooper on drums. They released their first EP, "Triumph", in 2010. This was followed by another EP, "Bone Kingdom", in 2012.
Their first full-length album, "Psalms", was released in 2015 under the label Density Records. The album showcased the band's unique blend of deathcore and black metal, earning them recognition in the metal scene.
In 2017, they released their second album, "Flesh Coffin", under Outerloop Records. This was followed by "Immortal" in 2020, which was the band's first album with CJ McCreery on vocals after Tom Barber's departure in 2018.
Despite numerous lineup changes, Lorna Shore has maintained a strong presence in the metal scene, known for their relentless energy, intricate guitar work, and powerful vocals. Their music continues to push the boundaries of the deathcore genre, blending brutality with melodic elements for a unique sound.
