Knocked Loose
Knocked Loose is an American hardcore punk band from Oldham County, Kentucky, that was formed in 2013. The group consists of Bryan Garris (vocals), Isaac Hale (lead guitar), Cole Crutchfield (rhythm guitar), Kevin Otten (bass), and Kevin "Pacsun" Kaine (drums). They made their debut with the EP "Pop Culture" in 2014, immediately capturing the attention of the underground punk and hardcore scene with their intense, chaotic sound.
In 2016, they released their debut full-length album "Laugh Tracks" via Pure Noise Records, which further cemented their status as a force to be reckoned with in the hardcore scene. The album is widely admired for its raw, aggressive sound, and it showcases the band's unique blend of hardcore punk, metalcore, and beatdown hardcore.
Their sophomore album, "A Different Shade of Blue," was released in 2019 to critical acclaim, featuring guest vocals from Emma Boster of Dying Wish and Keith Buckley of Every Time I Die. This album marked a significant progression in their sound, with more complex song structures and even darker lyrical themes.
Knocked Loose is known for their energetic live performances, where the raw emotion and passion of their music truly come to life. Their lyrics often tackle heavy themes like mental health, personal struggles, and societal issues, giving their music a deeply emotional and relatable edge.
