Judas Priest
Judas Priest is a famous British heavy metal band formed in 1969 in Birmingham, England. The band is known for its unique style, combining elements of hard rock, heavy metal, and punk rock. They have sold over 50 million albums worldwide and are considered one of the most influential heavy metal bands of all time.
The band's classic lineup consists of vocalist Rob Halford, guitarists Glenn Tipton and K.K. Downing, and bassist Ian Hill. Some of their most popular songs include "Breaking the Law," "Living After Midnight," and "You've Got Another Thing Comin'."
In their early years, Judas Priest played a significant role in shaping the heavy metal genre, particularly by embracing leather and studs as a fashion statement. Later, in the 1980s, they experimented with synthesizers and other musical styles, which helped them break into the American market.
Despite various lineup changes and a brief retirement in 2011, Judas Priest continues to perform and record music. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2022.
