In This Moment

In This Moment is an American heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 2005. The group was initially founded by vocalist Maria Brink and guitarist Chris Howorth, who remain the core members of the band. Their music is a blend of metalcore, hard rock, and industrial metal.

In 2007, they released their debut album, "Beautiful Tragedy," which brought them significant attention in the metal scene. Their second album, "The Dream," released in 2008, marked a departure from their initial metalcore sound, incorporating more melodic elements. It became the band's first album to enter the Billboard 200 chart.

In This Moment gained widespread recognition with their 2012 album, "Blood," which was certified Gold by the RIAA. The album's title track became their first single to receive significant airplay on mainstream rock radio.

The band is known for their theatrical live shows, with Brink often appearing in elaborate costumes and engaging in dramatic stage antics. They have toured extensively, both as a headlining act and supporting other bands like Ozzy Osbourne, Rob Zombie, and Five Finger Death Punch.

In This Moment has released seven studio albums to date, their latest being "Mother," released in 2020. Despite numerous lineup changes over the years, the band has consistently maintained their unique sound and vision, earning them a loyal fanbase in the rock and metal community.
