Form of Rocket

Meet Form of Rocket, a cool indie band hailing from good ol' Salt Lake! These guys got together over twenty years ago, making groovy math-rock sounds without any mics — imagine yelling your heart out right next to fans instead! Led by musicians like Pete Makowski, Tyler Smith, Ben Dodds, and Curtis Jensen, they used to jam super loud and energetic sets where everyone could feel the vibe. Even though they don't all call Salt Lake home nowadays, those Utah days shaped their unique musical identity.

Back in the old days, Form of Rocket put out killer tracks on limited edition cassettes through compilations organized by SLUG magazine. Now, they're bringing fresh versions of those classics along with brand spankin' new jams to the party scene once again. You might spot them performing at awesome shindigs like the annual Kilby Block Party, sharing stages with other rad artists. So grab one of their colorful handmade artworks disguised as audio releases because trust me, listening to Form of Rocket feels kinda magical!
