Crobot is an American hard rock band from Pottsville, Pennsylvania, formed in 2011. The group comprises of vocalist Brandon Yeagley, guitarist Chris Bishop, and a rhythm section featuring James Lascu and drummer Dan Ryan. The band initially gained recognition with their debut EP, "The Legend of the Spaceborne Killer" in 2012, which showcased their unique blend of hard rock, blues, and funk.
Their music is characterized by its heavy, groove-oriented riffing and Yeagley’s powerful, versatile vocals. Crobot's style is often described as "Dirty. Groove. Rock" and they are heavily influenced by bands like Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath.
In 2014, Crobot released their first full-length album, "Something Supernatural", under Wind-up Records. The album received positive reviews and helped the band secure spots in major rock festivals. Their subsequent albums, "Welcome to Fat City" (2016) and "Motherbrain" (2019), further established their signature sound and solidified their place in the hard rock scene.
Crobot has toured extensively, sharing stages with popular rock acts such as Volbeat, Anthrax, and Motorhead. Despite lineup changes over the years, Crobot continues to deliver their high-energy performances and distinctive sound, earning a dedicated fanbase worldwide.
