Bodysnatcher

Bodysnatcher is an American deathcore band that originated in Melbourne, Florida, in 2014. The group's name is inspired by a song from the band "The Acacia Strain." The band's music is characterized by its heavy, downtempo style and lyrics often dealing with personal struggles and dark themes.

The original line-up consisted of vocalist Chris Whited, guitarists Kyle Carter and Austin Coupe, bassist Wade Cramer, and drummer Josh Baker. They initially gained attention with their debut EP 'Abandonment' released in 2015. This was followed by their first studio album, 'Abandon All Hope,' in 2016 which reinforced their presence in the deathcore scene.

The band has undergone several lineup changes over the years, with vocalist Chris Whited being the only constant member. Despite this, Bodysnatcher has continued to produce music and tour extensively, solidifying their reputation in the metal scene. Their latest album 'This Heavy Void' was released in 2019, demonstrating their continued commitment to creating hard-hitting, emotional music.
