American Football

American Football is an indie rock band from Urbana-Champaign, Illinois that formed back in 1997. The group consists of Mike Kinsella (vocals, guitar), Steve Holmes (guitar), Nate Kinsella (bass), and Steven Lamos (drums). They are known for their dreamy soundscapes, intricate instrumentation, and emotional lyrics.

The original lineup included members who were also part of other bands like Cap'n Jazz, Joan of Arc, Owls, and Ghosts & Vodka.
