Adema
Adema is an American rock band that originated from Bakersfield, California in 2000. The group was initially composed of Mark Chavez, the half-brother of Korn's lead vocalist, Jonathan Davis, along with Mike Ransom, Dave DeRoo, Tim Fluckey, and Kris Kohls. Adema gained prominence in the early 2000s with their self-titled debut album that featured the hit single "Giving In." Their music is characterized by a blend of alternative metal and nu metal, with elements of rock.
The band's early success was followed by a series of challenges, including line-up changes and short hiatuses. Despite these, Adema has released several albums to date, including 'Unstable' (2003), 'Planets' (2005), and 'Kill the Headlights' (2007). Mark Chavez departed from the band in 2004 but returned in 2009, only to leave again two years later. The band continued to make music, with various members taking over vocal duties.
Throughout their career, Adema has been known for their energetic performances and distinct sound, influenced by the personal experiences and emotions of the band members. Despite the shifts in their lineup, the band has remained a significant presence in the rock music scene, demonstrating resilience and a commitment to their craft.
