Formed in 2003, the group is known for their unique fusion of metalcore and pop punk genres, creating a distinct and powerful sound that has resonated with fans worldwide. The original lineup consisted of vocalist Jeremy McKinnon, guitarists Neil Westfall and Tom Denney, bassist Joshua Woodard, and drummer Bobby Scruggs.
Their debut album, 'And Their Name Was Treason,' was released in 2004, followed by 'For Those Who Have Heart' in 2007. The latter album marked their breakthrough, earning critical acclaim and securing their spot in the hardcore punk scene. In 2009, Denney left the band and was replaced by Kevin Skaff. The same year, they released 'Homesick,' which peaked at number 21 on the Billboard 200.
Their success continued to grow with subsequent albums like 'What Separates Me from You' (2010) and 'Common Courtesy' (2013), which further showcased their ability to blend heavy, aggressive music with catchy, melodic hooks. The band's sixth studio album, 'Bad Vibrations,' debuted at number 2 on the Billboard 200 in 2016.
